Mark has been a founder / director in companies across the entertainment, technology, and wellness sectors.

Actively investing in the entertainment industry since 2005, he originally co-founded Aramid, a US$350m+ media and entertainment fund which provided the debt finance for over 30 feature films, and was also a significant capital provider to several major US studios for their structured film slate financings, as well as a majority shareholder in Incentive Filmed Entertainment (IFE), the US$100m joint venture fund with top global talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, responsible for Blue Valentine, Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, Area 51, Shark Night 3D, and Parker starring Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez.

Films financed include the upcoming Tin Soldier starring Robert de Niro and Jamie Foxx,  the Oscar-nominated In the Loop, Cheri starring Michelle Pfeiffer, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, District 9, and Oliver Stone’s W.

Directors worked with include Stephen Frears, Oliver Stone, John Maybury, and Taylor Hackford. Talent worked with includes Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams, Keira Knightley, Viggo Mortensen, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ewan McGregor, Kirsten Dunst, Michael Douglas, Colin Firth, Helen Mirren, Josh Brolin, Anjelica Huston, Sam Rockwell, Paz Vega, Jeff Bridges, Rachel MacAdams, Eva Green, Sienna Miller, Kathy Bates and Val Kilmer.

Mark is a member of BAFTA. He is passionate about musical theatre. He is a keen tennis player and freediver, inspired initially by Luc Besson's classic film, The Big Blue.
